Day 1

Arrive at Osaka, Japan

• Arrive at Kansai International Airport in Osaka prefecture.
• Meet your guide at the airport and take a private car to Kyoto City (approx. 2h 30 min).
• Check in at fhe hotel and relax for the evening.
Enjoy your first dinner meal at the hotel.

Day 2

Explore the heart of Kyoto

• After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide at the hotel lobby.
• Take a private car for a comfortable ride through the ancient city and explore the famous must-visit places around Kyoto, including the Kiyomizudera Temple, Fushimiinari Shrine, Gion district etc.
• Choose your special experience to discover the Japanese culture in depth. Meet the finest artisans and masters of Japanese tradition to encounter the world of Japanese culture and philosophy.

Day 3

Discover Kyoto in depth

• Visit the bamboo path in Arashiyama in the morning, walk along the famous “Togetsukyo” bridge and enjoy a nice walk around the river with a Matcha tea in your hand.
• Come back to the city center and stroll around the famous Nishiki market in the center of fhe city to try out all the unique tastes of Japan, from wagashi sweets, oysfers, spices, yakitori to pickles.
• In the afternoon, choose your favorite activity – going on a small hike, go shopping or take tea ceremony classes.

Day 4

Stroll around Osaka, the vibrant city of Kansai

• After breakfast, check out and move to the neighbouring prefecture of Osaka by car (approx. 45 min), the largest and most vibrant city of Kansai area where you will find anything.
• Visit the Osaka castle and stroll around the local Kuromon Market and pick your favourite street food for lunch, in the city of food.
• Enjoy your free time in the evening – get lost in the neon city around Dotonbori area and go on a bar hopping tour!

Day 5

Arrive in Uno port, Okayama

• After breakfast at the hotel, take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to from JR Shin-Osaka station to JR Okayama station (approx. 50 min), where you transfer to a private car all the way to Uno, the lovely port town (approx. 1h).
• Check in at fhe hotel and relax for the evening. Relax at the Spa Treatment or hop in the hot springs right at the sea. Take in the peaceful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea and prepare for your island hopping adventure you are about to start the next day.
• En|oy your first meal in the Setouchi area, prepared with local vegetables and seafood.

Day 6

Embark on an art island hopping cruise

• Embark on a private cruise from Uno Port (or Naoshima Island) on a Catamaran yacht to encounter the art islands of this area, with the assistance of a local captain and hostess who will be taking care of you on board.
• Visit Teshima Island, which offers a beautiful harmony of modern art and its surrounding nature and Inujima Island, which is home to a unique museum built on the ruins of an 100 year old copper refinery.

Teshima

Teshima has always provided residents access to abundant water resources. This has led to its robust farming heritage, which continues to fhis day. Inujima

Day 7

Indulge in the fascinating world of modern art on Naoshima

Spend the whole day to explore this fascinating art island of Naoshima, where the art pro|ect started over 30 years ago.
• Visit the one of a kind museums, designed by famous architects exhibiting unique art works and installations created by artists from all over the world. Stroll around the island and encounter many artworks blending with the beautiful scenery of this peaceful island.

Day 9

Visit a local fisherman’s island, Manabeshima

• Enjoy a massive fisherman’s cuisine, which consists of several plates with fresh seafood caught in the morning and fish of the day cooked in various ways. This family run restaurant is truly an local but iconic place to experience gastronomy.

Manabeshima

Manabe Island, located about 31 km from Kasaoka Port, is a tranquil haven known for its picturesque landscapes that have served as backdrops for numerous movies and TV dramas. Visitors can leisurely stroll through its traditional fishing village, highlighted by a charming stone promenade and designated as a "Hometown Village" by Okayama Prefecture. With its idyllic setting and historical charm, Manabe Island offers a serene escape into the essence of peaceful island life.

Day 10

Experience ZEN and ART

• Visit the Shinshoji Temple Museum of Zen and Gardens, a place for visitors to experience the spirit of Zen through a variety of activities, like tasting a bowl of tea, appreciating a piece of Zen calligraphy, eating a Zen meal that nurtures the body and soul, taking a bath to cleanse the mind and body, and strolling in the extensive gardens.
• A must-see at the museum is one of Japan’s largest collections of Zen paintings and calligraphies by Zen master Hakuin.

Day 11

Spend a day in Ikuchijima Island on Shimanami Kaido

• Stroll around the island or rent a bike to cycle along the Shimanami-kaido, a 60km long bridge connecting 6 islands between Hiroshima (main island of Japan) and Ehime prefecture (in Shikoku island).
• Another option will be to take a private car and visit one of the main attractions of this island “Kosanji”, a temple which is used as a museum along with the “Hill of Hope” a stone park made of carved Italian marbles.

Day 12

Encounter the grand Torii of Miyajima Island and Hiroshima

• Visit Miyajima Island, known for the Grand Torii Gate standing in the water which is the symbol of Itsukushima Shrine. The scenery beautifully changes its impression throughout the day.
• In the afternoon, stroll around Hiroshima City with the tour guide to visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Orizuru Tower.

Day 13

Move to Osaka to fly back home

• Last day of this trip in Japan.
• After breakfast at the hotel, check out and take a private car back to KIX airport (approx. 1h 40min).
• Take the flight back home or to your next destination.
